Parenthood can throw any challenge at you, from anywhere at any time of the day. The kitchen, the hub of any family home, is also one of the most hazardous places the kids can hang out with you.
We’ve got the correct First Aid steps from The Irish Red Cross on what to do when your child infant suffers from a burn.
It's easier said than done, but the first step is not to panic.
1. Cool minor burns under cold running water.
2. Cover with clean cling film or a loose sterile (non-fluffy) bandage.
3. Seek medical assistance if you are any way unsure of the severity of the burn.

Every home should have a First Aid box with the essentials...
A Family First Aid Course with The Irish Red Cross is covered in full GloHealth members with the Kids Health personalised package.
