The snow has been flurrying about outside Christmas-Day-in-our-dreams style but, yes, it is spring. Imagine that.
It was a great novelty for the first few days but the kids are probably just itching to spot a few homegrown flowers, herbs and veggies now. After all, spring is the most exciting season for nature.
In our day it was a used yoghurt carton and a small donation of seeds from granny, but now the possibility of growing your own veggies is endless... especially if you're in a gang of friends, school pals or youth group buddies.
innocent have made it even easier. Join the Little Greenies, a group of young gardeners that know how to make a plant happy and healthy. innocent have teamed up with GIY Ireland for the "sow and grow" campaign for its second year.
It's simple. Apply here for a free 'sow & grow' pack from innocent & GIY that will keep a group of up to 30 children, or children up to 30, busy this spring.
Expect to see plenty of colour, herbs and vegetables...
