So... where does cheese come from?
A. Cheese is a food based on milk
B. It's a plant
Unbelievably, one third of primary school children surveyed in the UK believed that cheese comes from plants.
One in five (18 per cent) thought fish fingers were made from chicken.
The British Nutrition Foundation (BNF) included more than 27,500 children in the research, The Scotsman reports.
The survey also found that one in ten secondary school children believed that tomatoes grow under the ground.

Cheese from plants and fish fingers from chicken...
The research launched BNF's Healthy Eating Week, a week where more than 3,000 schools and 1.2 million children will learn about healthy eating, cooking and where food comes from.
On the day of the survey, 8 per cent of primary school children said they had not eaten breakfast that morning.
This figure was 24 per cent for kids between the ages of 11 and 14 and 32 per cent for those aged between 14 and 16.
