Losing someone you love is incredibly difficult, but when they have made the choice to become an organ donor, there is hope of giving a chance of life to another person.

Singer-songwriter Pa Curran from Cork has released new single ‘Unintentional Hero‘, to create awareness of organ donation while honouring deceased donors in the song and video.

The ‘Unintentional Hero’ project is a tribute to the musician’s friend Taidhg Burke Neff, who died last October, but who as an organ donor impacted nine lives fortunate enough to receive his healthy organs.

Following a national appeal, Pa reached out to bereaved families and individuals who received organs to put together this music video as a tribute to all the unintentional heroes he’s met along the journey of the project.

All proceeds of the release are going to Irish Kidney Association and the Strangeboat Foundation.
