Baileys’ Strawberries & Cream Chocolate Egg is the much-needed treat we need for Easter 2020

Easter is just around the corner and if we're being honest, we couldn't be more egg-cited.

Because, honestly, we could really use a sweet treat right about now. Which is why we were particularly excited when we saw that Baileys have introduced a Strawberries & Cream Chocolate Egg (€12 RRP). The white chocolate shell has pieces of dried strawberry throughout, "creating a beautiful sweet sensation". But it gets even better. The egg comes with four milk chocolate hearts, each filled with a truffle filling which blends the fresh, sumptuous taste of strawberries with light and creamy vanilla with the taste of Baileys Original Irish Cream. Chocolate lovers will be delighted with this delicious match made in heaven. But that's not the only Baileys Easter egg hitting shelves this year. The company are also bringing back their Baileys Salted Caramel Egg (RRP €12) which combines a silky, milk chocolate shell speckled with crunchy salted caramel pieces throughout. The egg is presented with six irresistible gold-shimmer chocolates; a crisp milk chocolate exterior filled with an oozing salted caramel centre. “Our Strawberries & Cream Baileys Chocolates proved to be a big hit when we launched them earlier this year, so extending that winning flavour combination to an Easter Egg was an easy decision," Katie Byrne, Lir's Brand Manager, said.
