Gin and tonic recipes

Ready to welcome friends and family over for a back garden BBQ this summer (providing we will be at whatever level restrictions that this will be allowed, of course)?

I know I am so ready to sit out in the garden and sip cocktails with my friends – and so roll on balmy evenings and the end of lockdown.

As we are all collectively still obsessed with G&T’s, we recently hooked up with the experts at The Cocktail Service to pick their brains about how we can up our G&T game with some fun twists on the classic.

Here are three recipes we are definitively trying come those summer parties:

1. Many Clouds

This refreshing raspberry cocktail is the perfect sweet drink to enjoy under the sun this summer.

Ingredients

35ml Gin

15ml Raspberry Liqueur

25ml Lime Juice

10ml Gomme

Garnish

Two Raspberries & Lime

How to

Add all ingredients into a rocks glass and top with crushed ice. Give a vigorous stir and top with a crushed ice crown, lemon twist and raspberries.

2. Negroni

A simply perfect cocktail with equal parts Campari, vermouth and Gin, you can’t go wrong with this all-time classic cocktail.

Ingredients

25ml Gin

25ml Campari

25ml Red Vermouth

Garnish

Orange Slice

How to

Fill a rocks glass with cubed ice, add all ingredients and stir. Garnish with an orange slice.

3. Bramble

The Bramble has become a modern classic with its perfect sweet and sour balance.

Ingredients

40ml Gin

10ml Crème De Mure

30ml Lemon Juice

10ml Gomme

Garnish

Lemon Slice & Blackberry

How to

Fill a rocks glass with crushed ice and add all liquid ingredients except the crème de mure. Churn all ingredients with a bar spoon. Top with crushed ice, lace with crème de mure and garnish.
