Guinness has confirmed it’s bringing a brand new beer onto the market

Just in time for Paddy's Day!

It’ll be rolled out right in time for Paddy’s Day.

Guinness has revealed that it will introduce a new beer onto the market; but there’s one thing different than the rest of its brews – it’s non-alcoholic.

Yep, the brewery announced the news today, saying that just because ‘Pure Brew’ is non-alcoholic, doesn’t mean consumers will have to compromise with taste.

Lead Brewer, John Casey, told The Irish Times: “Consumers shouldn’t have to compromise on flavour just because they want to moderate.

“With Pure Brew, we wanted to give people a taste experience comparable to regular beer.”

The lager was developed in Open Gate, the experimental brewery in St James’ Gate and will be rolled out to 250 pubs in the capital by the end of this month.

By March, the beer will be in pubs nationwide, just in time if you want to have a sober Paddy’s Day.
