An Irish café is serving full Easter egg hot chocolates

It sounds so good.

We need to try this.

Union Grind Espresso Bar, in Cork, has just changed the way we should all make hot chocolate, especially around Easter time. The popular café has taken an entire Easter egg and created the hot drink from it.

Sounds intriguing, right?

Their method for making the drink is fairly simple, yet genius. They place a full chocolate egg into a cup and pour hot chocolate into it. While the hot chocolate is melting the egg, the folks at Union Gring add marshmallows, cream, syrup and powder to finish it off.

They shared a video of the process and it’s as mesmerising as you would expect. Just wait until it drops…

It’s not the first time they’ve experimented with Easter eggs after using a similar process to make the most chocolatey mocha the world has ever seen.

OK, so that might be an exaggeration but they used a whole Easter egg for that too, which is a lot of chocolate in any coffee.

They say they are open today until 4pm if you’re about Cork City.
