McDonald’s Ireland have announced they are extending their breakfast hours.

Yes, that’s right: as of Wednesday, November 20, McDonald’s customers across the country will get 30 additional McMuffin minutes as the company extends breakfast serving time until 11am.

And delivery for breakfast orders on McDelivery through UberEats will also be extended, going from 10:15 to 10:45.

“We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes,” Michelle Graham-Clare, Vice President Food & Marketing at McDonald’s UK and Ireland said. “We have listened to our customers’ pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am, particularly as we head into the festive season when we see a rush of latecomers searching for those all-important hash browns.”

It comes as the fast food restaurant recently released their McCafé Christmas range which, honestly, is making us so hungry.

Earlier this month, a number of new (and returning) treats landed on the McCafé menu – including the Millionaire’s Donut, the Mixed Berry Muffin and the Chocolate Brownie.

The Millionaire’s Latte is also back after its success last year. The coffee drink is made with a large shot of espresso, blended with steamed milk and caramel biscuit flavoured syrup, topped with a swirl of chocolate cream and a caramel drizzle.

And in a sure sign that the holidays are just around the corner, the company have also launched their Christmas Café Cup designs.

This year, the designs come in green, red and blue, and feature a beautiful reindeer motif.

The design is replicated on a reusable cup, over 1,000 of which are available to win in an online competition.

The cups are made from paper cups recycled in McDonald’s restaurants and include a recyclable cardboard replica of the reindeer design which can be removed after Christmas and used all year round.
