This is what Prince William and Kate order from the takeaway

Sure, they may live in a palace and have dozens of staff and a royal chef at their beck and call, but the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William are just like us.

No, really.

We know this because they indulge in a sneaky treat we reserve for fat days and hangovers… they order from the local takeaway.

Speaking to BBC 1 Radio this week, the royal couple revealed they relax by popping Homeland or Game of Thrones on the telly and ordering a curry.

And it’s not a Michelin-starred culinary artist who prepares it either; nope, Wills and Kate choose their dinner from the menu. Safety concerns make delivery to the door impossible however, so a staffer nips out to collect the food and brings it back to Kensington Palace.

The 34-year-old prince confirmed: ‘I’m not so good with spicy food. It doesn’t usually get ordered to the palace to be honest, normally someone goes and picks it up.’

We like to assume they eat it on the sofa in their pyjamas and that, occasionally, the Queen pops ’round for a three-in-one.
