Christmas is just about our favourite time of the year. Snow might be a rare event in Ireland but that doesn’t stop the streets looking beautiful come December.
Of course, we have all the stunning decorations to thank for that. Nothing quite beats that warm glowy feeling you get when all the Christmas lights go up. We’re still fond of the big flashing Santas and reindeers hanging over streets but we are particularly partial to the old classic decorations. We’re talking candles, mistletoe, and, of course, the humble but beautiful wreath.
We get extreme Dickens/Christmas Carol vibes when everyone starts putting their wreaths up every year. And we think it’s about time we learn to make our own elegant, festive wreaths. Which is why we will most definitely be popping along to London Essence Company’s Botanical Christmas Wreath workshop.
The event will be held in the Elle’s Suite in the Iveagh Garden and will be an evening of Christmas nibbles, some London Essence Co. distilled mixers and tonic and, of course, wreath making. We’re getting excited just thinking about it.
The class is on Wednesday, November 27, at 6pm and the wreath-making will be kicking off at 6:45. The Crate is hosting the workshop and they will provide everyone with all the items they need plus a hands-on tutorial on how to make the perfect Christmas wreath.
Expect to be wreath-making experts by the end of the class. You’ll be able to take your creation with you when you leave, plus you will receive a lovely goody bag to take home with you (very nice!).
