With sunny season, comes Summer Sounds at The Curragh – part of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival!
Not only is it great craic betting on your favourite horse, indulging in some yummy tipples and being with an all-round fantastic crowd at the iconic Kildare racecourse, but on Friday, June 29, there’s also set to be a live performance from one of Ireland’s best known DJ’s – Bláthnaid Treacy.
After the fantastic line-up of horse racing (and fashion ensembles), you can catch the live set from the 2fm DJ and it’s set to be superb.
Some other major highlights of the day includes the Her Apprentice Derby at 19:45 (yes, we have our own race, and you won’t want to miss it!), JOE’s Handicap at 18:35 and the SportsJOE Maiden at 20:55.
Ticket holders will also be entitled to complimentary admission to Kildare’s newest venue, Studio One, after the event. So your night doesn’t have to end after the horseracing and fabulous set. There will be a shuttle service provided after the racing, so easy-peasy.

Summer Sounds at The Curragh incorporates racing and live music on three Friday nights this summer – part of the three day Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival. The remaining dates are June 29 and August 31.
