If you're not already aware, the Heineken® Greener Bar is a first-of-its-kind sustainable drinking experience, giving music lovers a more eco-friendly way to enjoy music festivals. Created with reuse-led design, everything in the Heineken® Greener Bar has had a previous life. From the structure of the bar itself to the cups your pints will be served in, it's all made from recycled, upcycled or reusable materials. Meanwhile, the Heineken® stage will use state-of-the-art bio generators to reduce waste, water and energy use, whilst still delivering the best sound and lighting quality all weekend long. In keeping with the sustainable theme, Heineken's® stage will also feature a stellar local line-up throughout the weekend, including George Feely, Singalong Social, and PrYmary colours to name but a few. These small but effective changes are expected to save up to 9,760kg of plastic event waste and 23,646kg of CO2 emissions, while this year's festival will see 20,000 less single-use plastic cups in circulation when compared to EP 2019.
