What is summer if not a time for adventure and fun? The kids are most likely getting their fair share of it, with summer camps, meeting up with friends, or finally enjoying the sun in the garden (you took your time there, pal).

Turns out Cadbury agrees with us, and you can see that in their fun-filled Camp Freddo, which is making its return to Ireland this August (woohoo!). It will be held at The Avon, Co. Wicklow, from August 11-14. This camp may seem like a kids’ camp but it’s absolutely not. Camp Freddo is ALL about the families.
At Camp Freddo, parents and kids have to work together to complete challenges, solve clues, and overcome hurdles to succeed in their quests. There’s no sitting back here, mums and dads. It’s time to let loose and embrace your inner child.
The camp has everything from archery to zip lines and climbing walls. On arrival, families will receive a picnic basket to enjoy as a snack along the way, and there will also be a BBQ for everyone at the end of the day. Delish.
Camp Freddo is only around for four days and it’s so popular that tickets are already entirely SOLD OUT. However, we have a few extra family passes to give away to a lucky group out there. These family passes provide entry for a family of four (two adults and two kids) into the camp. If your family is a bit bigger than that, it will be €5 for each extra person (so still a fab deal).
That’s not all though – the winners will ALSO receive hotel accommodation for a night of their choice between August 11 and 14, while Camp Freddo is running. So, you’ll have somewhere nearby to pass out after all that activity. Plus, we know your tummies will be rumbling after an energetic day, so the entire family will be treated to dinner at the hotel too.
