The festival is MASSIVE and has over 60 free and ticketed events all happening across Waterford city, including the amazing Waterford Eye, a nightly festive light show in Cathedral Square, an incredible installation by Spraoi at Wyse Park, festive train rides, and a horse-drawn sleigh (it’s still Ireland, after all).

Or grab your partner and show off your skills (or hang on for dear life) at Winterval on Ice at the Waterside Car Park.
For a fancy treat for the kids, enjoy breakfast or afternoon tea with the one and only Santa Claus at Enchanted Christmas, Winterval’s new Santa experience at the Old Postal Sorting Centre. Or, for the adults, take a cocktail masterclass where you’ll learn how to make your favourite classics, as well as some delicious Christmassy concoctions.
There’s so much going on at Winterval, Ireland’s Christmas Capital, this year and if you’re any sort of a Christmas fan you’d be mad to miss it.
