That's all we really want from summer. At least we know we will definitely be getting two out of those three at Beatyard 2019. The buzzy music festival is back this August, from the 3rd-4th at Dun Laoghaire Pier, where you will be able to hear some of the best tunes of the summer. Some of our favourite music acts will be performing on the pier, including CHVRCHES, Jungle, Todd Terje, Soulé and Prymary Colours – as well as Superstylin' headliners Groove Armada. The London dance masters' set will be the pinnacle of the weekend for us. You'll see us baby, shaking our asses – and everything else we've got too! Among the other top-quality acts on the unmissable line-up are Grandmaster Flash, Krystal Klear, Marc Rebillet and SG Lewis. And that's just to name but a few. Added to the stellar musical offering, there will also be tons of delicious food thanks to the festival's foodie sister, Eatyard. All your favourites from the scrumptious food market, from crepes to churros, will be popping up on Dun Laoghaire pier for the festival, joined by local favoutites Teddy's Ice-Cream. When you've had your fill of food, venture into the Games Yard where you'll find a wonderland of arcade games, crazy golf, ping pong – and some keepy-uppies for the budding Ronaldos among you. And the Instagram moments don't stop there. One of the stand-out features of Beatyard 2019 is the opportunity to take in a set on the high seas at a boat party. There will be two sailings each day, with hosts Gxrl Cøde, The Midnight Disco and Yachty by Nature ensuring that you dance your way around Dublin Bay. Think a music festival on a pier couldn't possibly be kid-friendly? Think again. Beatyard 2019 will include a Kidsyard area, created especially for the little music fans. Think Family Raves, Me & the Moon art workshops, experiments from Planet Science Kidz, Festijeux giant games, colour and music from Dabbledoo, building with Bricks 4 Kidz and some magical entertainment from Genie Mackers.
