We called on our readers to outline why their mother/sister/boss/bestie deserved a prize, and you responded in your droves. This month's winner is Zoe Doyle. She writes; My name is Zoe Doyle and I would like to nominated my mother Claire Doyle to 'run the world' with. Three years ago my mam was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy with immediate reconstruction followed by months of chemotherapy, but through her whole ordeal she remained to positive and an inspiration to all of her family and her friends. After she was cancer free for her 50th birthday, she threw a pink party in our local pub and raised €1060 for the local hospice. Following this she decided to take up jogging and got in training for the Flora women's mini marathon. After she completed the race, she decided to run the Jog for Jockeys 10km race and raised more money for the injured jockeys fund, as her son Joe is a jockey. I truly think she should be this month's winner, she's such a super woman and an inspiration. How could we say no?  This month's star prize is on the way to Claire and Zoe, congrats guys!
