A European girl claiming she hopes to alleviate her parents financial worries has appeared on TV to talk about selling her virginity.
18-year-old Aleexandra Khefren appeared on This Morning to talk about her sordid plan.
Aleexandra admits that she came up with the plan after watching Indecent Proposal and realized she could sell her virginity for an incredible price.
She says that she wants to sell her virginity to study abroad and help her family buy a home. When Philip questions the teen about her health and safety, she says that she has been tested to prove that she is in fact a virgin. She becomes baffled at the question and admits that she hasn’t considered the possibility that the highest bidder could have an STI. Aleexandra also admits on the show that her parents are unaware of the circumstances.
Since the show has aired, the girl’s parents have revealed that they are not in financial difficulty and they do not support their daughter’s decisions.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, the parents of the girl said that they would disown her if she went through with her plan.
The teen’s uncle Radu Raducu said that his parents are baffled by the teen.
“Her mother and father are simply disgusted and can’t understand why she is doing this,” he said.
“They have begged her not to do it, but she told them, “I’m 18 and I can do what I like with my body.”
“They have threatened her and said if she goes ahead with selling herself they will not consider her their daughter any more. It is a terrible situation.”
“Her mother was in tears and it was a terrible atmosphere. Just awful.”
“I tried to be the peacemaker and to see both sides, but they are very angry.”
Despite the claims that the auction is to raise money for her parents, The MailOnline revealed that both Aleexandra’s parents are in well paid jobs and are not facing eviction.
Aleexandra’s 48-year-old father Toni is a riot cop with the Romanian National police while his 46-year-old wife Elena works in a pharmacy.
