Oats are a healthy source of energy
Sweet Potatoes
Sweet potatoes contain beta-carotene, which is converted into vitamin A by the body. Vitamin A is necessary for cell growth and a deficiency can lead to dry skin and dull, lifeless hair. Replace regular potatoes for yummy sweet potatoes and add to soups and stews for some extra delicious nutrients.
Oily Fish
Oily fish such as salmon, mackerel, herring and sardines are rich sources of essential fatty acids, which can help improve the condition of dry skin. Try to eat at least two portions of oily fish a week.
Brazil nuts
Brazil nuts are rich in selenium which has antioxidant properties. Selenium works in conjunction with vitamin E to boost healthy hair and nails.
