Beware Ladies! New Tampax Tampons Fail To Impress

Tampons can be tricky business.

Tampons can be tricky business.

At your time of the month, it’s hard to muster the strength to even get out of bed and appear alive. Many of us just need baggy clothes, copious amounts of chocolate and most importantly, comfort while our period passes.

And comfort is exactly what the new Pocket Pearl tampon has been denying women, according to many reviews. Dedicated Tampax customers have been extremely vocal on Facebook and other sites about how the new Pocket Pearl is not performing for them.

These suck!!!!! First off you can barely keep a grip on the applicator and why the heck is there even that clear piece…

Many customers have reports that the applicator falls apart in their hands “they constantly collapse on themselves and make the tampon only half way inserted. Sometimes the whole tampon comes out with the applicator”.

Text reads in full:

‘The applicator is awful! I’ve seen women calling other women stupid for struggling with these tampons. I have used other brands of the same style applicator and have had no issues. After you click these into place they constantly collapse on themselves and make the tampon only half way inserted. Sometimes the whole tampon comes out with the applicator. The design is flawed [sic].

Also, the design on the wrapper is heinous. Like the ugliest design imaginable. It looks like it’s straight from 1993 and not in a fun retro way. I’m uncomfortable enough on my cycle without having to look at that eye sore. Seriously it’s worse than the tampon not working. Ugh.

Nothing like peeling off a disgusting wrapper to attempt to insert a tampon with a faulty applicator for 5 minutes’.

The faulty tampons have even left some women inserting their tampons manually. Grim.
