We're having a very cheesy week... and it just got better.
Still recovering from our fondue evening last night, we are THRILLED to announce that today is International Grilled Cheese (toasted sandwich) Day.
To mark the occasion the folks over at Dubliner Cheese conducted a survey to show how versatile the humble toasted cheese sandwich really is.
78.6% of survey respondents revealed that they enjoy a toasted cheese sandwich for dinner, with a further 66.1% admitting that they would often have a toastie for breakfast.
When it comes to a quick fix meal the toasted cheese sandwich topped the polls with 87%, beans on toast came in second place with a bowl of cereal and pot noodles bringing up the rear in third and fourth place.
