People are making dessert quesadillas on TikTok and they look so good

Here are three we're desperate to try.

A recent trend on TikTok sees food bloggers take the infrastructure of savoury dishes, swap the ingredients out for sweeter options, and serve them up as a dessert. Oreo sushi follows this model, and the same is true for S'mores charcuterie boards. The latest dessert trend has the delicious Mexican dish quesadillas to thank for its origin. Traditionally, quesadillas consist of a thin tortilla filled with cheese, vegetables, meats and spices that is then cooked on a griddle or stove These ones, however, are a little bit different. Food bloggers are using a variety of spreads, fruits and toppings to make delicious dessert quesadillas. Here are three we cannot wait to try.

1. S'mores Quesadillas

Take a cue from Jamie Milne (@everything_delish) who uses a tortilla to create a delicious summer snack. For her recipe, you'll need Marshmallow Fluff, Nutella, bananas and peanut butter. Spread your tortilla out flat and divide your toppings across four sections. Cut a slit, fold your wrap up, and cook in a pan.

2. Apple Pie Quesadillas

Next on the list is this recipe for Apple Pie Quesadillas, courtesy of @kristysketolifestyle. For this one, simply dole out apple pie filling (click here for a recipe) across your wrap with brown sugar and cinnamon. Fold it up, place it on you pan, cook and enjoy. To make it even tastier, serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.

3. Nutella Dessert Quesadillas

The last place on our list goes to Nico (@succulentbite), and his nutella dessert quesdillas. Nico uses Nutella, bananas and strawberry on his toritlla, but he has his chocolate spread out across half the wrap to make it extra delcious.
