And now there is another brand-new, oh-so welcomed addition to Dublin 2... namely a huge, Manhattan-esque food market packed full with everything from fine wines to falafel, and from sweet treats to sushi.
Enter Dollard & Co - described as a food hall, market, AND grill, it's being billed as the first of its kind in Ireland.
It opened up last Thursday and is already proving to be something of an Insta-hit - the platform on which we spotted D&Co revellers posting a lobster and crab omelet; a raspberry and white chocolate meringue, and a basket brimming with fresh bread.
Yum.
Set on the ground floor of the stunning historic Dollard Printworks, you can access Dollard & Co from either Wellington Quay or East Essex Street.
On the riverside is a casual, over-the-counter deli that dishes out breakfast, flatbreads, coffee, smoothies and juice - and with enough seating for 80.
Meanwhile, The Grill comes with table-service and is centred around an open-plan kitchen. There is also a grocery section with fruit and veg, and meat, fish, and cheese counters.
Finally, if you're a carnivore, you'll love the fab butchers' counter: loadsa meat on offer as well as the Dollard & Co dry-ageing chamber. Fancy!Explore more on these topics:
