If there's one thing to get people talking, it's a TikTok hack about eggs.
Over the last few months we have delved into the world of TikTok hacks and have found some gems.
Like how to get juice out of a lemon without the pips, how to make a delicious egg sandwich in a few mins without a mess, and a great trick for getting bleach out of clothing.
(This was particularly very helpful when a brand-new jumper of mine was accidentally coated in bleach. I don't want to talk about it.)
This next hack is one I was absolutely dying to try: Getting a boiled egg out of its shell without making a mess.
Basically, the idea is to blow to egg out of the shell, using your mouth. It then flies out with the force of your breath.
I was skeptical too, but lads,
it actually worked.
This is how you do it:
- You boil your eggs
- You wait for them to cool
- You crack a little hole in the top of the egg and a bigger hole in the bottom
- You blow into the smaller hole
- Your egg pops out without shell
I tried, and the result gave me a good laugh. And, as the above video depicts, it worked!
I don't know how but it worked and at the end I was left with just shell in my hand and a naked boiled egg in a bowl.
I would recommend giving it a go for the laugh if anything, because life is short and you might as well get all the laughs you can.
