The foodie blogger… and her refreshing take on calorie counting

'Healthy' doesn't necessarily mean better.

Who’s guilty of calorie counting?

We admit it – we totally are!

However, if you pay close enough attention, you’ll soon notice that the so-called ‘healthy snacks’ aren’t as healthy as they make out.

One blogger who is helping point that out to her followers is Lucy Mountain.

The fitness blogger is breaking down the stereotypes of seemingly healthy and non-healthy foods with simple comparison pics.

And it looks like we could be doing ourselves more harm than good in the health food aisle.

The 25-year-old behind The Fashion Fitness Foodie has been comparing the calorie count in some healthy snacks to those in snacks traditionally branded unhealthy.

The Londoner is on a mission to educate her followers that food won’t help you gain or lose weight, it’s how much you eat that will make a difference.

With nearly 70,000 followers on just Instagram alone, the blogger has earned a loyal following thanks to her honest approach to healthy eating.

The foodie admits to enjoying Fruit Pastilles and the odd mad night out and tells her fans that that’s OK.

It all comes back to the age-old tale of everything in moderation.
