Do you ever wonder how you’re the one who comes down with the life-interrupting, twenty-four-hour-snivelling cold at this time of the year while your friends are sailing through the season sniffle-free?
Follow these easy-to-do lifestyle tips to boost your immune system even more…
1. A Breath Of Fresh Air
Commune wisdom tells us that staying indoors where it is warm and toasty is easier on your immune system than being outside in the cold. The truth? It is a germ-breeding ground… It puts you in close, constant contact with other people and their germs.
Not only does escaping into the fresh air give you a break from all those germs circulating inside, but going for a stroll can actually boost your immunity. Exercise leads to an increase in natural killer cells, neutrophils, and monocytes, which ultimately increases immune function.

3. Keep It Clean
Colds and flu spread too easily through touch. Keep your hands clean and keep them away from your eyes, nose and mouth as much as possible. Soap and water remain the most effective tools when it comes to keeping your hands clean.
4. Catch Your Zs
One occasional restless night is nothing to worry about, but a continuous lack of zzz’s can really hamper your immune system’s ability to function. Sleep requirements do vary by individual but anything short of seven hours nearly triples your odds of catching a cold. That’s seven straight hours with no middle-of-the-night wake-ups.

We advise you to get a sleep mask just like this one...
