JOE vs Her: Who will be victorious at this year’s Virgin Media Night Run on April 23?

Her

Brought to you by Virgin Media.

Eh, obviously we will.

We don’t shy away from a bit of healthy competition here at Her. Which is why we are practically jumping at the chance to annihilate our JOE colleagues at the Virgin Media Night Run on April 23.

If anyone is keeping score (we obviously are) then you will know that last year team Her beat the boys over the 10km course and this year we are back for our victory lap.

We’re already getting in the zone carb-loading at lunch time and watching ”Run Fatboy Run” at least once a week. We promise we will actually get round to training someday soon too…

The lads might as well just go home now because we have got this in the bag.

If you fancy creating a bit of friendly competitive banter in your office then why not get your own teams signed up for the event? Maybe go for men v women? Or perhaps you’d rather turn the departments against each other?

A bit of competition will definitely give you the push to get out there and get training.

Here’s a little preview of the course we will be running on the night.

The Virgin Media Night Run is always a great laugh and the organisers are expecting around 8,000 people to take part this year.

Part of Dublin City Centre will be closed down for the race and you can guarantee that the atmosphere is going to be amazing.

Everyone who takes part gets a Brooks Tech Running Top and goodie bag of treats. Plus you’ll be able to humbly brag about completing a 10k for at least a month afterwards.

We can’t wait to completely mortify the lads when we zoom past them during the race. Good luck with all your training boys… you’re gonna need it.

This year’s race will start off at 9pm on Sunday, 23 April. For more information or to register for the Virgin Media Night Run, check out their website
