330g hazelnuts
2 tbsp sunflower oil
120g honey
pinch of salt
2 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp vanilla extract/essence
Preheat oven to 175C
To make your roasted hazelnut butter: Roast hazelnuts in preheated oven for about 7-10 mins until they are nicely roasted. Put in food processor and blend with the 2 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt for 5-15 minutes until its all nice and smooth. In some food processors it will be done in 5 minutes and in others it may take up to 15 minutes Note: Alternatively you can simply use a jar of roasted hazelnut butter and skip this step. We sell them on our online shop if you can’t find it anywhere :)
Once done take it out of food processor into a mixing bowl. Add all rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly it all together well with a fork.
Put it in an empty jar.
It will last for months and doesn’t need to be refrigerated.
