Elsa told us that skipping breakfast usually means that you end up craving foods or drinks that are high in caffeine or sugar later in the day.
She said: "If you go too long without eating, your blood sugar levels can drop further and that can then affect your food choices. Your body will start to crave quick pick-me-ups such as caffeine and high-sugar snacks.
"That’s when you make poor food choices, so what you choose to eat for breakfast sets the tone for the rest of the day in terms of blood sugar balance and energy levels."
