“Ladies, please consider doing this at the youngest age possible.”
Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald has shared a devastating update with her fans – urging them to think about their fertility and family plans sooner rather than later.
The 41-year-old has been documenting her fertility treatment on social media, explaining that while she and husband Romain Bonnet, 30, are not quite ready to have a baby just yet, they want to make sure the option is still there when they do feel ready.
And so Fitzgerald, who is already mum to a 23-year-old son, has been doing fertility treatment in order to freeze her fertilized eggs.
However, last night the reality star took to Instagram to share some devastating news.

She captioned her video:
“An update on my embryo freezing journey. This was definitely not the news we were hoping to get and while it is super disappointing, we are just keeping our heads up. PLEASE consider doing this at the youngest age possible if you know/think you want to have children! Sharing my experience in hopes of helping anyone who is interested in doing this process.”
In the short snap, Mary explains that none of the eggs they had been able to harvest and fertilize had been of good enough quality, and so in short, they are back to square one again.

“We are going to go through the process again,” the property agent says.
“But it is a learning curve and a reminder that even if you look young and feel young, your eggs are still the age you are. And so if you have been focusing on your career or just haven’t met the one yet, you really should consider freezing your eggs when you are young.”

Back in May, Mary first took to Instagram to share she had started her fertility treatment, sharing a video of the treatment process and explaining what she had to do and how the process would go.
