1. Spice It Up
Just because you’re leading a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean your food should be bland, in fact it’s quite the opposite. Spice up your meals on a daily basis with a sprinkle of chilli. Capsaicin, the compound that gives chilli peppers their kick, heats up your body which can make the additional calories melt away. You can get the capsaicin advantage by eating chilli raw, cooked, dried or powdered.

2. Think About It
The fast pace of our daily modern lives means most of us eat our meals on the go or while chatting with friends and family. This could be our downfall. Eating can be, and is meant to be, sociable, but it’s important to give some time to your meal.
Taking more time over your meals and not talking while you eat is the healthy option and could help reduce post-meal bloating. Eating too quickly and talking while you’re eating can cause you to swallow a lot of air, leading to excess gas.
Take your time, chew and enjoy the food experience.
3. Serve From The Stove
This nifty trick is an easy habit to make. If you’re serving dinner, leave the dishes in the kitchen instead of at the dining table and you’ll eat nearly 10 per cent less. Fact. We’re all tempted by the extra portions left sitting on the table in front of us and it can be to our detriment.
Also, when prepping your snacks, pack them into single-serving lunch bags. You’ll grab one for the day without even thinking about it, if you’re eating out of a container you can up your consumption by 61 per cent.
