Coffee and tea are two of the most common causes of yellow teeth, but red and white wine are also bad culprits as are fizzy drinks. One easy way to avoid this is drinking through a straw or trying to cut back on the worst offenders. Your teeth will thank you for it.
Get your calcium
Turns out your mammy was right, milk does make your smile a little bit brighter. Dairy products, such as cheese, yoghurt and milk, contain lactic acid and the enamel-fortifying mineral calcium, which strengthen teeth while also whitening them.
Always rinse
Right after eating, rinse water around your mouth to get rid of anything that may have stuck to your teeth to help prevent any food from staining. It might sound like a bit of a chore but once you get into the habit it will become second nature.
