If you’re planning on getting a vajazzle and blinging up your bits this festive season, you might want to rethink it after you read the following. According to some new statistics, hospitals have been hit by a massive 50 per cent increase in emergency visits.
However, instead of being met by broken legs, wounds and appendix pains, doctors and nurses are coming face to face with vajazzles that have gone horribly, horribly wrong. We’re not kidding!
The sparkly transfers that were made popular by reality TV show The Only Way is Essex, are apparently responsible for a huge rise in hospital emergency admissions. Why? Well, people are experiencing very embarrassing injuries to their private bits after getting blinged up down below.

Oh and intimate waxing like Brazilians and Hollywoods are also responsible for the rise in patients visiting casualty departments.
So what are the most common injuries patients are presenting with? Cuts, infections, bleeding and genital bruising have all increased. Ouch or what?
Shockingly in the United States, where the vajazzle and waxing crazes began, an eye-watering 16,000 women are admitted to hospital every single year with a case of DIY waxing and vajazzle jobs gone horribly wrong.
Hmm, we don’t know about you but we think we’ll be keeping the sequins firmly on our Christmas dresses rather than our poor hoo-hahs.
