There's a gym in the States offering naked work-out classes and oh my
First of all, why?
The first rule of gym is wear appropriate clothes to the gym.
Well, the first rule of gym is actually respect others and for the love of God wipe down the machines after using them, but you get the idea.
Appropriate gym wear is also a necessity.
The last thing you want to do is rock up to the cross-trainer and get your baggy pants caught, sending you tumbling to the floor in front of the personal trainer who kind of fancied but in a 'Ah, I would, like' kind of way.
Still though, all of the above would arguably still be a lot safer than going to the gym naked.
After all, nobody would be ridiculous enough to-... Oh wait never mind, they are.
A gym in New York is offering naked work-out classes and they're just as questionable as you'd expect.
Personal trainer to the stars, Harry Hanson, is running three naked gym classes a week - one for men, one for women, and one for men and women.
Hanson told the New York Post that he wants people to feel "comfortable" while they exercise so, naturally, being naked is the way to achieve this.
“The idea is for people to be free to exercise in whatever makes them feel most comfortable.
“Participants are free to come in nude underwear and wear sneakers if they prefer.”
Members can also book naked solo sessions if they are any way that inclined.
Despite the bizarre-ness of this whole debacle, there is one thing we are genuinely concerned about - people's safety.
After all, the last thing you want is to get something, ehh, stuck somewhere.
According to Hanson though, the whole thing is entirely safe.
“Our trainers are qualified to ensure that all workouts are carried out safely and that our clients perform the exercises in the correct manner so not to hurt themselves."
