Vaping has become increasingly popular in recent years.

A new study suggest that vaping is just as bad for you as cigarettes.

A vaping session which usually last longer than a cigarette can cause just as much damage to the aorta, the main artery in the heart.

According to Huffington Post, scientists researched the immediate after effects of vaping on 24 adults around the age of 30.

Those who use e-cigarettes spend longer inhaling them than cigarette smokers do. Therefore, the study researched the effect of 30 minutes of vaping compared to 5 minutes of smoking a cigarette.

The effects on the participants were very similar to those who smoke cigarettes.

The damage smoking has on the heart increases the chances of angina, heart attacks, strokes, blood clots and more. So if vaping has the same affect as tobacco, you are susceptible to these risks.

The research was presented at the European Society for Cardiology congress, where the researchers said they would not recommend the use of e-cigarettes.

They measured aortic stiffness, the stiffer the aorta the increased chance of death from heart disease or other illnesses.

The researchers said that e-cigarettes should not be used as a method of quitting smoking as the damage they cause is just as harmful.
