Yep, apparently, those dark circles under your eyes are more than just late nights catching up with you.
The skin around your eyes is extremely thin and inflammation often shows up as dark circles under your eyes, which you'll know all about if you've ever run out of concealer trying to mask them.
Although these dark circles have long been attributed to burning the candle at both ends, they can also mean that you're suffering from congested sinuses which may be linked to allergies.
If you've ever experienced hayfever, you'll know how badly it affects the sinuses with bouts of sneezing and spluttering a common occurrence.
There are a number of ways to clear nasal congestion:
use a saltwater solution to clear your sinuses
try some Vics VapoRub dissolved in hot water
buy an over the counter decongestant
However, if you've tried all of the above and it's made no difference, it's time to visit your GP and explain the problem.
This will help your doctor to conduct various allergy tests to effectively treat you.
