Toys, Turkey, Treats, and… A Thistle-Based Detox? Georgina Ahern on Staying a Little Bit Sensible this Festive Season

Well it really is countdown time now, so before I start for this week I’d like to say a very Merry Christmas from me!

I hope you all have fun-filled happy times over the next week or so, whether it’s resting, partying, working, celebrating or whatever you’re most looking forward to over the Christmas period - have a blast!

Don’t forget to grab some brisk wintery walks with the family over the festive period. Pull yourself up from the couch for a moment and get some fun exercise.

If there are kids in your family that will have received brand new bikes they'll be only itching to try their new prezzies in the nearby parks or gardens! From bikes, skates, scooters - the lot, Santa arriving with these toys will give you no excuse but to join in and get yourself outdoors for a little stroll and some much-needed fresh air.
