You HAVE to try these 3 ingredient almond butter protein balls

Looking for a new healthy snack to get you through that mid-afternoon slump? Well look no further we found this delectable recipe that you have to try.

Energy or protein balls are all over the place at the moment, they’re jam-packed full of all the good stuff you need to get you through the day or through your gym session.

There’s one catch… they’re bloody expensive, so why not try making them at home? Something so small and circular can’t be that terrifying right?

And here’s the best part you only need 3 ingredients. WE KNOW… too good to be true.

What you’ll need,

  • 1 cup of almond butter
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 12 dates (pitted)

What to do,

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor until it forms into a clumpy ball if it looks too dry add a teaspoon of water
  • Roll into the ball shapes of your dreams and enjoy

 

 

We had to try out this recipe and we have to tell you, they are TASTY and they literally took ten minutes. Pop them in the fridge then bring a few with you in a sandwich bag to get you through the day.
