In this week’s instalment of self-defence using Krav Maga, we’ll be looking at how a woman can protect herself from an attack from behind using the ‘Knock, Knock’ technique.
We’ve teamed up with instructor Patrick and his team at Krav Maga Ireland to bring you some top safety tips that you can easily adapt into your own routine for protection. Each week, we’ll analyse a new skill and demonstrate the method in protecting yourself from a possible attacker.
This week we look at how to respond to someone who tries to attack you from behind. This video will talk you through some basic principles that will involve cracking on the knuckles to break the hold, giving you a chance to swing out from your attacker and break free.
Again the aim of this technique is to give the person being attacked the chance to break free from their attacker and run for help.
