WIN TICKETS: WellFest 2023 is this weekend and here’s what to expect

We’re so excited!

Now in its eighth year, WellFest is Europe’s largest outdoor health, fitness and wellness festival and it’s coming to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham Dublin this weekend.

The festival features more than 150 health and wellness experts from Ireland and abroad, more than 15 stages and delicious food and exciting brands.

WellFest also provides the ultimate feel-good experience for attendees to create memories that inspire them all year round.

It attracted almost 10,000 attendees last year and are expecting to surpass that this year.

In saying that, attendees are in for a treat, the line-up is incredible.

We’re giving three lucky readers a chance to win tickets to WellFest 2023.

Here’s an insight into the line-up:

Fitness and Instagram superstar Joe Wicks MBE, aka The Body Coach, will host a workout on the Main Stage, as well as delivering a talk in the WellTalk area.

Personal trainer Maeve Madden, is returning this year with her popular Queens Don’t Quit (QDQ) stage for the full weekend.

Excited for the festival, Maeve said: “I am delighted to be bringing Queens Don’t Quit back to WellFest for a second year.

“We were blown away with the support from everyone who was there last time and can’t wait to be back in Dublin, bigger than before.”

The WellFood area will feature top cooking talent, including cookery writer and TV chef Rachel Allen, influencer and chef Trisha Lewis, cookbook authors and Currabinny duo William Murray and James Kavanagh. 

Roz Purcell will give her top tips on hiking..

Roz Purcell will curate and host a The Hike Life panel, discussing benefits of the outdoor lifestyle and top tips for embracing a hiking lifestyle.

The Hike Life store will also be at WellFest featuring hiking and lifestyle products created by Roz.

Meditation expert Michael James Wong, the founder of Just Breathe, will guide collective mindfulness sessions from the WellMind area.

Also returning to the WellMind area are performance psychologist Gerry Hussey and wellness and nutritional coach Miriam Hussey.

The WellMind area will also feature ‘Resilience and Grit’ sessions facilitated by influencer and disability rights activist Paddy Smyth and Conor Buckley from Human Collective over the weekend.

Top fitness coaches will be leading the charge with workouts over the course of the weekend, including one of London’s top personal trainers Faisal Abdalla.

Fitness coach and lifestyle influencer Niamh Cullen will also host a few workout sessions.

Yoga fans will have the chance to join sessions with renowned yoga instructors from Ireland and further afield including Jonelle Lewis.

Other popular yogis include Shona Vertue, Maura Rath and Chris Magee who will all make an appearance.

Want to know more about women’s health?

The UK-based, NHS gynaecologist and vaginal health expert Dr Anita Mitra, a.k.a. the Gynae Geek, will be appearing on the WellTalk stage to discuss all things women’s health.

For fans of high-intensity workouts, a variety of exercise and dance workshops will be taking place in the WellFit area hosted by Hayley Madigan, Steph Elswood, Lottie Daisy and Aimee Conroy.

Festival highlight POUND,  a cardio jam session inspired by drumming, is returning to the Main Stage on both days of the
festival.

WellFesters will also be able to join in an F45 Track class, which is a 45-minute outdoor training session, combining circuit and
HIIT-style training.

WellFest returns to Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin this weekend Saturday 6th and Sunday the 7th of May.
