A woman has died in Mexico after consuming slimming tablets that she bought online.
24-year-old Lucero Priscila Garza Campos, from Mexico, died four weeks after she began taking the tablets.
According to
The Sun, she bought them online, instead of going to a doctor, after she saw an advert which claimed the tablets were made from natural ingredients.
A few weeks after she began taking them, she started to suffer from headaches and then fell into a coma. She was rushed to hospital where she was diagnosed with inflamation of the brain.
She was on a life support machine but he family decided to take her off it and she died. Lucero leaves behind her daughter of 14 months.
Tablets like these are banned in Mexico since 2014.
