Hoop Dreams
We visited the Irish Basketball Select team recently to shoot the breeze and shoot some hoops. We LOVE highlighting exceptional Irish women in sport. Follow our On Home Ground series for lots more of this.
Lazy Daze
A few of our team members were overjoyed to receive this box set survival pack from Sky Ireland. From a tray for meal times to lazy glasses (they actually allow you to watch a show lying down), we have everything we need for a weekend of television-watching. Now the only problem is deciding which one to watch.

Brothers And Sisters
Glenda Gilson and comedian Andrew Stanley paired up with some special youths this week for the launch of Foróige’s #BigBrotherBigSister campaign which encourages volunteers to become a role model and mentor to a young person. The campaign is calling on volunteers to become a ‘big brother’ or ‘big sister’ by giving up just two hours of their time per week to hang out with and provide a positive support to a teenager who has signed up to the programme. The basis of the campaign is centred on the fact ‘you can’t change the world, but you can change someone’s world’.

We have a special soft spot for jewellery at Her.ie HQ, so you can imagine our excitement when the latest news from PANDORA landed on our desk. Three is a Magic Number
Ideally our magic three would be Channing Tatum, Tom Hardy and Her.ie… but we’ll take what we can get! Team Her.ie has been spoiled with books this week. From exciting thrillers (After The Fire by Jane Casey) to a hilarious sketchbook (Love Sick by Jessie Cave), we really don’t know where to start. Please don’t call us over the weekend… we’ll be curled up on the couch with these hot dates!
