Ali Hussain is only 14-years-old but due to an extremely rare genetic condition called Progeria, he ages ten times faster than other children his age.
Ali, from Bahir in India, is one of only approximately 80 cases of the disease in the world. And despite the fact the five of his sibling’s died from Progeria, Ali is still extremely positive and hopes for a miracle cure.

Ali, 14, remains hopeful for a miracle cure to this fatal disease.
"I very much want to live and I hope there is medicine for my condition out there. I’m not scared of death but my parents have suffered a lot," Ali told the Daily Mail.
"I’d love to live much longer for them. I don’t want to burden them with any more pain."
The teenager’s parents are first cousins. Together the couple had eight children, four of which died from the disease between the ages of 12 and 24. Another child sadly died after birth, suspected also to have been suffering with the condition. Ali has two sisters free of the disease.

Ali wants to live longer for the sake of his parents.
According to the Progeria Research Foundation, a nonprofit that seeks to cure the condition and its aging-related disorders, children suffering from the condition are born looking healthy, however “begin to display many characteristics of accelerated aging at around 18-24 months of age."
Children with the disease often exhibit remarkably similar appearances despite ethnic origins. The disease is fatal, and the oldest person recorded to live with Progeria was a South African man ages 26 who died in 2011.
