There were a lot of sighs and head-scratching going on at the start of the year when people across the country realized that St. Patrick’s Day was going to fall on a Tuesday this year.
But here at Her Towers, we embraced the Tuesday. We saw it as the little blessing in disguise that just needed to be revealed and here’s why…

Monday madness
Yes, you might have been at work all day today but there’s a guilty glee in heading out for pints on a Monday night.
Sleep is oh so good
If you are like us, you probably did the dog on it over the weekend too, so having that lie-in tomorrow morning will be sweet bliss.
Money talks
As much as we love our bank holidays here at Her Towers, we know we’d have spent A LOT more if we’d had a full weekend of bank holiday madness. This way, you can trick yourself into thinking you’ve actually spent less.
Three-day week
When you pull yourself out of bed on Wednesday morning, be happy in the knowledge it’s hump day and the weekend is just around the corner.
Recovery is key
St Patrick’s Day on a Tuesday is actually perfect as you have Wednesday to doze off the hangover in work, Thursday to come back to normal and then… wahey… It’s the weekend again!
Master of the weekend?
You definitely are if you were clever and took Monday off too. Four-day weekend people! We salute you!
Treat time!
The unwritten rule in Irish culture is that you can break lent on St. Patrick’s day – be it a Tuesday or not, any day of the week is good when you are allowed to have forbidden treats. NOM!
