Amira Thornton saved her Mum, Jennifer's, life after her mother began choking and the seven-year-old girl swiftly performed the Heimlich manoeuvre.
Jennifer from Oregon in America, was choking on a piece of sausage, to the point where she was no longer able to speak. Thanks to knowledge Amira picked up from hit film Mrs. Doubtfire, she was able dislodge the trapped food that was blocking her mother's airways.
According to the Daily Mail, the Oregon girl heard strange noises coming from the kitchen, and when she realised her mother was choking she recalled the dinner scene the famous movie.
"It was pretty scary because there was nobody else here, and I couldn't talk, I couldn't, I was just in shock," Jennifer said.
