Whatever name you pick has to be popular, but not so popular that they will be sharing the name with half of their eventual class at school.
It has to be unique, but not too unique. And, understandably, you'd want it to sound perfect with your surname.
Like we said, trick but there are already some baby-naming trends emerging for this year.
Some of them are on the newer side, while others are tried-and-tested favourites - like gender neutral baby names, which are looking set to be just as popular in 2020 as they were in 2019.
JoJo Maman Bébé has put together a list of all the names they think are going to be popular next year, and which they think would suit boys and girls.
