A Bill Of Goodwill: This Is What One Family Received After Daughter Tells Waiter “Grandpa’s House Burned Down”

The advent of the internet has brought many things to light, one being the amount of goodwill some people have.

Reddit user Tanek42 posted this photograph of a receipt his family received after a meal at a local restaurant.

The family visited Italian restaurant Olive Garden after a recent house fire at his parents. The guy who posted the photo online went for a bite to eat with his brother, wife and 3-year-old daughter.

When the manager asked how everything was, his daughter replied, "Grandpa's house burned down."

A quick glance at the subtotal will show how one act of goodwill can make somebody's day.
