A Man Just Popped The Question In The Most Elaborate Proposal Ever

Well, he must have been pretty confident she’d say yes. One woman reading her Sunday papers was in for a huge surprise this morning… stumbling upon her boyfriend’s national proposal to her on the front page of The Observer magazine. According to The Guardian, James Greig knew Katie Moore was the one after the first time they met… despite having to fly to New York to take her on a first date. Katie was living in New York, in the ‘cut-throat’ dating scene, when she accepted a random dinner invitation. The pair, who had mutual friends, met in Manhattan for dinner when James was stopping into the city, and six weeks later, he flew back to take Katie out again. This time he told her he loved her at 4am in a Brooklyn nightclub, and cried on the flight home. So, now that they’re one year together, and have recently moved in together in London, James decided he wasn’t going to waste the opportunity to show her how much he cares… With a front-page proposal of a national magazine supplement. Today, James revealed his plan was to whisk Katie away to a countryside hotel, and to wait for her response. In case you were wondering, The Observer confirmed just before 10am:
