According to reports, Tinder will allow users to flick through Instagram snaps, as long as they have been made public.
This might even help us stop swiping left so quickly as our nosiness will surely get the better of us.
Anywhere in the region of 34 photographs and videos from someone’s Instagram account will be able to be accessed directly from the Tinder app.
However, those with private Instagram accounts are being reassured that their accounts will remain private, but that they will be offered the option to allow Tinder access, thereby making the account public for Tinder eyes only.
“This is the first of many steps to take the recommendations engine to the next level and help you assess the person you’re matching with and start those conversations,” said Tinder co-founder and president, Sean Rad.
“If we can provide our users with more relevant information for each connection, we can take them halfway there in terms of getting a conversation going.”
