A Monaghan man had to improvise transport when he bought a calf at a mart

This is brilliant!

Christopher McGuirk recently visited the Ballybay mart in County Monaghan and purchased a lovely young calf for himself.

Delighted with himself, he then thought about the best way to bring the new animal home.

He didn’t have a trailer but had a live animal to transport back to his place.

What a conundrum.

As you can see, his lack of trailer didn’t stop him from getting his new pal home. He told our bros at JOE.ie that he simply popped the calf in the back seat of his Vauxhall Astra.

We’re willing to bet that was the most luxurious way an animal has been transported in the entire agricultural history of the country.

Casual, like.
